iOS 26 – “Filter Unknown Callers” Option Missing in Phone App for Switzerland Region

Description:

The “Filter Unknown Callers” option, integrated with Siri in iOS 26, does not appear in the Phone app settings when Region is set to Switzerland and Language to French (Switzerland).

Switzerland has four official languages, including French, but the system seems to prioritize German-language settings, causing feature availability issues for French-speaking users.

Steps to Reproduce:

1 Set iPhone Region: Switzerland

2 Set iPhone Language: French (Switzerland)

3 Open Settings → Phone

4 Observe that the “Filter Unknown Callers” option is missing

Expected Behavior:

The option should appear regardless of the official language selected, as long as it is supported in iOS 26.

Workaround:

Change Region to France while keeping Language as French (Switzerland).

The feature then becomes available, but currency and regional settings become inaccurate (e.g., EUR instead of CHF).

Impact:

French-speaking users in Switzerland are unable to access the feature without changing to an incorrect region. Similar multilingual regions (e.g., Canada, Belgium) do not appear to face this issue.

Request:

Ensure that all official languages of Switzerland are fully supported for feature parity in iOS 26 Phone app settings.
