Driver for canon lbp6000 on macOS Tahoe

I have an old Canon LBP6000 printer, but it doesn’t work on Tahoe with the V10.0.8 driver. Does anybody know how to fix it?

According to Canon, there are no drivers for macOS 26 Tahoe and since the product is past EoL, there will not be any more updates.

There may be 3rd party printing apps in the Mac App Store that will support the printer, but since it is USB-only and there will not be Canon drivers, barring that you will need to get a new printer or downgrade to Sequoia (for which there are drivers listed on the above Canon page).
