Unable to unlock my MacBook Pro using Touch ID or Apple Watch after macOS Tahoe update

I downloaded IOSTahoe, and now my Mac will not unlock using my watch or Touch ID. Is anyone else having the same issue?

In System Settings > Touch ID & Password, turn off the unlock with Apple Watch option, then turn it back on. If that doesn’t fix it, turn it off, then in your Apple account settings (top of the sidebar in system settings), sign out of your Apple ID, then sign back in, then turn unlock with watch back on.

Unlocking my Macs with my Apple Watch has been working fine for me in Tahoe, but over the past few years it has occasionally stopped working and the above steps corrected it.
