📱 @Apple I recently upgraded to the #iPhone17 and the battery drain issue is really disappointing. Even with normal use, the phone loses charge way too fast. For such a premium device, this shouldn’t be happening.
Please address this with a fix/update soon. 🔋⚡

If you’re stating actual performance you have a defective battery. Please contact Apple Support.
You need to have Apple perform diagnostics on your iPhone. It can be done in person at an Apple Retail Store or at an Apple Authorized Service Provider. You can also contact Apple Support and request remote diagnostics.

Was it 60% at the time you wrote this post at 7:48pm? That doesn’t sound like a lot of drain in my opinion, it seems normal for a whole day of use
Experiencing the same thing. Upgrading (I thought) from a 14Pro to the 17Pro and I’m very disappointed with the battery life. The 14Pro wasn’t great either, but it was better than the 17Pro.
My battery drains without using.
When I kept 40 before sleep and in morning it will in 20 percent. I’m very disappointed
My 16pro lasts 3 hours!!!!
What did the tech at the Apple Store / Genius Bar say when you took the phone in to be checked and tested?
Agree. Horrible battery usage on the 17. Goes from 80% to 20% in a few hours without use. Is there a cell phone “lemon law”?
I went from 15 pro max to 17 pro and I am LIVID. They don't want to offer me to return it. Just sending me to a service center.

The insane battery drain is happening not just on my old iPhone 17 but ALSO ON THE REPLACED UNIT FROM APPLE, I DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!

I am very disappointed. I have traded my iPhone 15 Pro Max in which has had a ways better battery life than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. After Apple had promised an improved battery for the new iPhone 17.
