MyQ watch app won't connect to iPhone after OS 26 install

Just purchased a new Apple Watch Series 11. This is my first Apple Watch coming from Garmin. I was immediately prompted to update my Iphone 16 Pro to OS 26. I cannot get the MyQ watch app and phone app to connect to each other. My phone works fine. There is an option to link MyQ to my Apple Watch but it does nothing. When I open the watch app it says "Please sign in on your iPhone to continue by clicking the gear button on the home screen" which is where the option to connect is. It does nothing.

I found a few post from a year ago that go through the steps of deleting the apps and reinstalling a certain way which I have tried. Still no good. Is this an OS 26 issue?

It's the app developer that's going to have to fix things.

If you look at the most recent reviews in the App Store, They're almost all horrible.

If you've tried deleting and re-installing it and that didn't help, the next step would be to contact the app developer. They may not have updated the app for the new OS.

Same issue here. I called Support & spoke with someone who said he'd had similar complaints & would send a ticket over to the developers. He wanted screen shots of my watch & phone when it tries to sync/connect, app version, etc.

I'm thinking the more calls they get the quicker they will fix it.
