How to stop lock screen time size from changing with every photo??

I have my lock screen set to change photos every time I tap or raise my phone to wake. Every time I do that, the time changes, and sometimes it's stretched really long and it's very annoying.

I had read on a site that if I choose the first font for the clock and manually adjust the time size, it will not change with different photos, but that it not true. It still changes.

Whoever thought of this idea did not think it through. I just can't imagine there are that many people who want the time of their screen to stretch super-long and take up 3/4 of the screen depending on the photo being used in the background!
