A white mark/light has suddenly appeared on my iphone 16 pro screen. The phone is also over heating when charging wirelessly and stops charging until cools down. The phone has not been dropped or had water damage. Any thoughts welcome please? I did not take out apple warranty. The phone is almost 4 months old. Sorry about the photo. The white mark looks like a pixel issue. The iPhone comes with a 1-year limited warranty at no cost. You do not have to buy that. I would make a Genius Bar appointment to have the device examined by Apple. The will explain your options. Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple
The charging is normal. If charging wirelessly with a fast charger, the battery will quickly charge to 80% and will display that cool down message, and finish charging after. That is to prevent damage to the battery. The phone itself is not overheating in that something is wrong causing the overheating, it is the charging battery and it is normal behavior.
