After updating to Tahoe, USB devices connected via USB hub are no longer recognized

As the title says, after updating my Macbook Pro to Tahoe neither my external mouse or keyboard are being recognized. They are both connected via a port hub that is also used to connect the external monitors, which work fine.

I've regularly had issues with the Macbook failing to recognized these USB devices, similar to as described in this existing thread. However, I was always able to fix these issues by unplugging and replugging in the hub or if that didn't work, fully restarting the Macbook and then reconnecting the hub. But since automatically updating to Tahoe last night, neither of these solutions work any longer. As of right now, the only way I can use my laptop is by using the built-in trackpad and keyboard which completely breaks my current setup.

Is there any way to address this? My Macbook has an Intel processor, so setting "System Settings->Privacy&Security->Allow accessories to connect->Ask every time" as suggested in the previous thread above isn't an option.

I’m experiencing an issue with my Corsair Wireless or Wired mouse. When I switch user accounts without restarting the computer first, the mouse starts dropping selections. Returning to the first user logged in resolves the problem.

However, if I switch user accounts, the mouse begins dropping selections. For example, if I select an input field like a search bar, it behaves as if I clicked outside the bar, and I have to click it again. This is extremely frustrating when trying to type something. It also makes using dropdown menus a challenge. I’ve tried numerous suggestions, but none have worked. The only suggestion Corsair has provided is to roll back my operating system.
