Missing Flyover feature in Apple Maps on iPhone 12 Pro, iMac, and iPad

I recently went to the Apple Maps app to do some research on Peruvia, Italy. I had researched that city several times previously and each time always enjoyed using the Flyover feature in the Apple apps app.

However I was unable to locate the flyover button on either my iPhone 12 Pro or my M1 iMac. Nor could I find it on my M4 iPad.

I went to a listing of other cities that reportedly offered the Flyover feature and when I viewed them in the Maps app they too did not have the Flyover feature.

Have you noticed that the feature is missing or has been buried somewhere other than where I used to be?
