Bluetooth issues on iPhone 17 Pro Max running iOS 26

Same problem her but not just bluetooth: I just switched to an Iphone Air from a Iphone 15 pro max. I notice a very low telcommunition signal and I easily loose the connection, further I have problems connecting to my bluetooth headphones (Jabra Elite 7) and finally also using Wifi in my house the signal strength has decreased significantly, where I am e.g. struggling using the phone as chrocast provider.

I have the exact same provider and equipment as with my previous Iphone 15 and also my family having Iphone 16 has no problems.

Bluetooth and or Apple CarPlay loses connection. This is a HUGE problem. It’s not related to my car.. the same issue is happening with my husband’s vehicle. I wish I did not update. Please please send a fix. I’m dropping calls. Thank you.

26.1 has made it a bit better for me, but I still have disconnects in my car pretty consistently. Hotspot can flake out some too from other devices as I hear it from my boys, but if they connect to another iphone hotspot it's fine.

Needless to say this has been and continues to be a problem for me. I didn't have an option on OS the 17 Pro Max for anything other than 26, but I am staring to wish I kept my 15 now.

Add hearing aids to the mix, and you’ve got my situation….phone, speaker phone, AirPod, hearing aid, and so on…it switches every 5 seconds. If I’m in my car add that one to the mix. It’s an absolute nightmare! When I get a call my only option is to turn Bluetooth off (in settings…from the pulldown doesn’t work), and then put my phone to my hear which is a pain with hearing aids. I’ve run the update to 26.1 and it DOES NOT WORK. I’ve done several resets, but nothing has helped. Any suggestions welcomed.

Unable to do it. They worked perfectly with my iphone 13. I was just in a chat with Apple Support trying to figure it out. Nothing worked. Calling the "senior team" tomorrow with a case #. So disappointing!

This issue started when I swapped to an iPhone Air with an esim. I got so annoyed I took the phone back to the Apple store and changed to an iPhone Pro 17. What is happening is when I connect to my Mercedes radio I connect a call and after about 90 secs the person who I am speaking too suddenly starts say 'hello, hello are you still there'. I can hear them crystal clear but they can't hear me. I have to cut the call and reconnect for another 90 secs.

Using my phone in the car is like playing the lottery. Every time I get a call it connects, drops and sometimes reconnects. Same happens when using ChatGPT in voice mode. I am running 26.1, tried enabling and disabling every Bluetooth option. Super frustrated because I switched to apple after years of having an android. There are also buggy issues where I have to hit send 3 times to get the text message sent, sometimes the buttons don’t click in the browser and I have to restart the browser. Is this how it always is with a new iPhone?

I appreciate your frustration, and I share it as well. But since you came from Android, just know that this is unusual for Apple. I ran a tech company with 35 employees and about 50 computers (because some of our computers were dedicated to running equipment or maintaining the network.). Only three of our computers were PCs. The rest were all Macs. And it was the PCs that gave us all the problems. I'm hoping Apple gets this thing figured out soon.

The only problem I’m having is that my AirPods Pro 3 won’t stay connected to my 17 Pro max for more than a couple hours. I have to put my earbuds back in their case for 5 minutes or so, until my phone finally decides that it’s no longer connected to my earbuds. Once my Bluetooth settings show that my earbuds are no longer connected, I can pull my earbuds back out and start using them again

i also am having this issue with airpods and car. I have taken the patch thinking it would fix it....no luck there.

Having same and similar issues ... iphone 17 pro max and airpods pro 3 ... constantly disconnecting, constantly sounding garbled on the phone. Even after the supposed bluetooth fix. What gives?

Bluetooth issue is still present on latest update even though 26.0.1 says it’s fixes included for the same. When Apple actually going to address it? Is it OS issue or HW issue for iPhone 17 pro?

The issue isn’t only on apple air pods and apple products. I have the same issue with my beat studios + and it’s becoming so annoying I might switch to android.

I have the same problem. Bluetooth won't even detect my Omron blood pressure monitor anymore.

I also have problem that bluetooth disconnects shortly and it happens mostly in my car.
