My new iPhone 17 Pro is locked so I can't activate my Sim.

I am trying to activate my Esim on my new iPhone 17Pro. Tracfone says my phone is locked so I can't do that. I can only use WIFI because I din't have internet connection. I am not seeing a way to unlock it. It should have come unlocked.

Depending on what carrier it's locked to, which you should be able to view in Settings -> General -> About -> Carrier Lock, you should be able to reach out to their support team to get instructions on what you need to do to unlock it, if it is carrier locked. You may also want to reach out to whereever you bought your phone from to inform them that you purchased an unlocked phone, but received a carrier locked phone.
