iOS 26 is unstable on an iPhone SE 2020

Hello, after updating my iPhone SE 2020 from iOS 18 to iOS 26, the phone has become incredibly slow. Why?

Is it possible to upgrade to a more stable version of iOS?

I'm completely disappointed with this change, as this phone worked perfectly on previous versions of iOS: 16 and 17, and now, there's no trace of its former responsiveness

I haven't found a single way to fix the unstable performance of the new iOS.

Rolling back to a previous version is no longer possible, based on information online.

I think the best option would be to write to Apple's feedback form and describe in detail the problems I've encountered while using the new iOS 26 on my smartphone. Perhaps Apple will take steps to address them.

My iPhone used to work perfectly on iOS 16 and 17, but now that's absolutely not the case.

It's a shame Apple doesn't offer a downgrade option, even to a previous iOS version.

"iOS 26 is unstable on every single iPhone including 17pro. A long way to go before Apple addresses all the problems associated with this major update. It is what it is. Greetings."

To the OP and All those Affect:

This seems to be catching on. So,...

Report this to Apple:

A2. Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of you occurrences, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

And what troubleshooting steps have you done to rectify the issue?
