Recently upgraded to the 17. I always film my videos in landscape mode. When I went to upload some videos recently to Facebook and Instagram, it uploads in portrait mode. Never used to do thus (previous phone 11 Pro).
Any suggestions on how to prevent this?

Meta has to update their apps more than any app developer I know because they are constantly having issues. Apple has no control over how something you post to another platform displays. That's on Meta, not Apple. You're right, getting any help from them is pretty near to impossible, but again, that has nothing to do with Apple either.
