iOS 26: Unable to distinguish multiple numbers for the same contact

IOS 26.

If a contact has multiple numbers, it shows just the name. I couldn't see the number I call, just the name. So if I call the same contact using different numbers, there's no way I can figure out which number I called.

I am having the same issue, and with a company of 1000+ employees, with multiple numbers, it's impossible to know. Same issue with Text messages/iMessages. Can someone give us a solution, or at the very least let us know it's being addressed? After spending almost 2k on two new phones (not counting that all employees have an iPhone and iPad (over a million dollars in Apple equipment), this is very disappointing that we can't even get support for this issue. not count

The label solution only works for phone calls. In Messages, with the loss of the "Recent" flag, there is no way to know which phone number or email of a given contact was used for the conversation.
