IOS 26.
If a contact has multiple numbers, it shows just the name. I couldn't see the number I call, just the name. So if I call the same contact using different numbers, there's no way I can figure out which number I called.

Label the numbers. It does show the label in the Recent lists, I believe.

I am having the same issue, and with a company of 1000+ employees, with multiple numbers, it's impossible to know. Same issue with Text messages/iMessages. Can someone give us a solution, or at the very least let us know it's being addressed? After spending almost 2k on two new phones (not counting that all employees have an iPhone and iPad (over a million dollars in Apple equipment), this is very disappointing that we can't even get support for this issue. not count
I am extremely annoyed with the iOS 26 update . My phone feels like it’s on a delay . When I send or receive a text message it shows the number not name ? I have tried every work around there is please fix it I am beyond frustrated

Maybe set your forum default sort order to "Oldest" in your user preferences to follow the thread as it was posted.

There has never been a "recents" flag in Messages.
