I have US Mobile using Verizon‘s network. Although they offer an Apple Watch plan, the ultra three doesn’t seem to work because Verizon‘s network is only LTE for watches. I thought the ultra three would do LTE or 5G. Does anybody know what’s going on with this? Is anyone else having this problem?
US Mobile is NOT a supported cellular carrier for the Apple Watch. It doesn't matter if they are using Verizon's network or someone else's. US Mobile is NOT the same as Verizon.
If you want cellular service on your Apple Watch, you will have to switch your phone and watch to a supported carrier.

If US Mobile told you it would work, then you'll have to work it out with them.
Apple does not support cellular service for the watch on US Mobile.
That means they can't/won't help you get it working on that carrier. That carrier has not been deemed compatible with the Apple Watch cellular.
Whether it does 5G only, or LTE only, or both is irrelevant so long as you're trying to use it on an UNSUPPORTED carrier.
US Mobile is not a supported carrier. It will not work on US Mobile AT ALL.

I’m not sure about the word “supported” but they do have Apple Watch plans that work well. Just won’t work with the ultra 3. My actual question, however, is whether the ultra 3 will work on an LTE network or does it have to be 5G only. Because the tech specs list LTE but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Yes. That’s why I thought it would do LTE. I saw that as well. Yet I’m being told it’s only 5G. That’s why I’m asking the question.
