ios26 compatibility with adobe and pdf files.

Since upgrading to ios26 on my iPad Pro 11 inch 4th generation I have lost the functionality to swipe right to move from one .pdf file to the next within the same folder. Now I have to close the file and manually open the next rather than just swipe. How can I restore that functionality, or is it gone forever?

Your last sentence did it! "From the Files App, touch-and-hold the filename of a PDF file; a menu will appear. Select Open With, then Preview with Quick Look." Thank you.

When using the native Files App, you should still be able to scroll through files using the swipe gesture. Ensure that you begin the swipe from the bezel area, this being outside of the visible edge of the screen. Some fitted cases do not provide sufficient border to begin the swipe from the screen bezel.

Also ensure that your PDF files when accessed are not being opened from the Files App in the new Preview App. If opened in Preview, you can't scroll between files in the same folder using the swipe gesture...
