iPhone 14 LCD Suddenly Blacked Out

Hi everyone I need some advice. My iPhone 14’s screen suddenly went completely black, even though the glass has no cracks and the phone has been handled very carefully. My warranty had expired so, i got mine fixed at a local repair shop.

The phone is 1 year old.

• It’s only been dropped a few times, and none were very hard.

• No lines, flickering, or green lines appeared before the blackout.

• Nothing heavy has pressed on it, though a dog did lightly step near it recently

So… do you think this is just a manufacturing defect, or is it stupid or careless handling on my part? Any insights or experiences would be appreciated!
