How can I find location history on my iPhone for a specific date?

Trying to find the location history for a specific date on my iPhone. Got a Parking ticket that date and they have the address in a completely different location. Trying to figure out a way to prove I was not in the location they listed.

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 18

I'm afraid that's not possible. For peoples safety, locations are limited to your Significant Locations, like Home and Work. iPhone does not keep a running tally of all the locations you've visited. It's possible your carrier may be able to help you as they do know exactly where you've been at pretty much all times. But they often won't give out such information without a court order. Still, I'd ask them if they can validate where you were on the date in question.

It was enabled, just shows my last 3 places from yesterday but lists 331 locations since the beginning of august. Want to access that summarized list of 331 locations

The information you seek is very deliberately inaccessible, because the information can be sensitive, and this sensitive information is subject to disclosure in abusive and coercive situations.

I’d expect some of the requests posted for this location information over the years are from the abusers.

You will need to find another means to locate yourself elsewhere, whether that involves carrier-provided location information, access to a Wi-Fi network elsewhere, surveillance footage elsewhere, Google, or whatever.

Acquiring some or all of which can involve courts and legal paperwork.

Did you bother reading it? Here is a copy/pasted quote:

"Use it to find past locations—like restaurants from a recent trip—and organize them into guides or share them with others. Visited Places are end-to-end encrypted, can’t be read by Apple, and appear on all your synced device"

It certainly DOES keep a list besides home and work, if enabled. It is NOT available to 3rd parties, unless the devices are synced.

PS, it won't prove his/her car wasn't parked where the ticket was issued.

I stand corrected. This is a new feature which was introduced in iOS 26, just two weeks ago and I wasn't aware it had been implemented.

If, however, the author got a ticket before iOS 26 was introduced, nor had they turned on this new feature, then they can't get the information they seek from their iPhone. And the tag line of the Author's first post indicates they are on iOS 18. So the feature isn't available in iOS 18. They would still be at the same dead end. But it's good to know this is a new feature for future reference.
