What should I consider when buying an Apple Watch Series 11 abroad?

I currently live in Brazil and I have an Apple Watch 4, this recently stopped working and I have to buy new one. I am travelling to Asia in October via the uk and my question is should I buy an Apple Watch in the uk on my way to Asia, or wait till I get to Asia to buy the gps model. I will be travelling to South Korea first and then Japan and finally Hong Kong. Will I have any issues buying the gps version in Asia? I have checked the models and as far as I can see there are only 2 models for the 42mm and the 46mm, one for the rest of the world and a specific model for China. Any help on this question would be much appreciated. I don’t want to buy it in Brazil, as it’s almost treble the price here.

Availability of warranty (and non-warranty) service is the biggest issue. Though you can theoretically get it serviced anywhere, in practice, that's not always possible. Feature availability is another issue as some features are reliant on approval by government agencies. Those features will be unavailable on devices sold in a region where they are not approved, even if they have been approved in the country where you intend to use it.

There may also be a tax liability if you purchase a device outside of your country of residence.

Taxes are the largest reason behind the price differences from one country to another.
