iPhone locked after erasing all content

im giving my iPhone 12 to my nanny and i erased all content and it was all ready to be set up. When my singling was setting it up something went wrong between the updates and linking my nanny’s apple account and now its passcode locked to a 6 digit code (neither me or my nanny ever had a 6digit code). I can’t figure out how to basically factory reset the whole phone again (there’s nothing saved that needs to be recovered it can be completely wiped clear as she has her older phone and I have my new phone set up)

What is the exact error message you get when you try to restore using your computer?

Unfortunately I’ve tried this with 3 laptops and it keeps saying it can’t restore or fully update the phone, I think I’ll need to bring it to an Apple Store
