How can I fix slow performance issue after updating Apple Watch Series 10 to watchOS 26?

It seems after the watch OS upgrade to latest 26 version, it has significantly impacted the device performance. The animations seems not fluid, slow and lagging across all apps and device functionality. Is anyone else facing this same issues?

I have Series 10 46 mm WiFi. Thanks!

Did you already install the latest watchOS 26.0.2 and iOS 26.0.1 on your devices?

After an update/upgrade, I always force restart my devices.

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

To force restart your watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.

Try turning off the watch and after a couple of minutes turn it back on, it might solve the problem.

same here on brand new ultra 3 watch. Since the tahoe update all my ios ecosystem began to run so slow ! nothing even restarting make this disappear !! its clearly relates to tahoe as this has always been smooth until this update !! this is valid for iphone mac ans watch !
