iPhone 13 battery health degradation after iOS 26 update

Ever since updating my iphone 13 to iOS 26 my battery health has been degrading. Just this month i have lost over 4% in battery health from 83% to 78% in less than a month.

Can apple do something to resolve this or at least give us a way to resolve the issue.

The chemical structure of lithium batteries do not degrade in a linear fashion. It’s quite likely the battery has experienced a chemical change and the algorithm has estimated a sharp decrease in battery health. It’ll probably level off at the current rate of decline, but performance may be affected.
