Hi Kwellis,
welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community.
Re: Missing auto brightness feature in accessibility on updated iPhone
Wondering if you still have iOS 26 or have updated iOS to 26.0.1
Seems auto brightness is now on by default, yet you can still access the settings (see below).
and
you might want to try using the slider in Control Centre.
You can drag the brightness bar up or down to adjust the brightness.
Apple Support's online article (link below) has lots of details:
Adjust the brightness and color temperature on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Eg: says:
"iOS devices use an ambient light sensor to adjust brightness levels based on the light conditions around you. The sensor lowers brightness in dark locations and raises brightness in light locations. The auto-brightness feature is on by default.
When auto-brightness is on, you'll notice that the brightness slider on your device moves according to changing light conditions.
To turn auto-brightness on or off:
If you think your screen brightness isn't adapting correctly, try to turn off auto-brightness and then turn it back on."
All the best :-)

Re: " .... the auto brightness feature isn’t even there in the settings anymore ...
it shows on but it’s not working. It does not adjust automatically."
If you want to try restarting, that often restores order if something is not working as expected.
Eg : Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
(Deletes temporary files, re-establishes connections, may update recent setting changes etc, and more.)
Else, if the setting is still not there when you scroll right to the bottom:
You may want to let Apple about know your experience.
It won't help immediately, and they will likely not reply, yet your feedback will be carefully read and logged, and if others have a similar issue, it may be addressed in a future update.
If others also have an issue: The more info. Apple receives on which hardware models, software versions, and apps are affected, the more likely we will see an update that addresses the issue.

i updated to .1 and the auto brightness feature isn’t even there in the settings anymore. I told Siri to turn it on, it shows on but it’s not working. It does not adjust automatically.
