Where can I find my iPhone backup on MacBook Air?
I backed up my iPhone to a MacBook Air running MacOS 26.0.1. Where is the backup file located?

That may have been the location under earlier versions of the system software, but not MacOS 26.0.1
You are not doing a search
From your Finder drop down menu: GO>Go To Folder, copy & paste:
~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
