I bought a new iPhone 16. The brightness is all the way up. However, my brightness is dimmer than my friends iPhone 13. My white background is a bright grey unlike hers a bright white. Is there a reason for this

In Settings > Display & Brightness - is True Tone turned on? Using True Tone does make the screen a warmer color on purpose.
Also, in Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size - Make sure things like Reduce White Point and Auto Brightness are NOT On.

Thanks a million, my white point was reduced to 74% causing the problem.
