GPS lagging behind on iPhone 14 Pro Max after iOS 26 update during driving on flyovers

Whenever I am using google maps and I am driving on a flyover. My location doesn’t update. It is causing me a lot of trouble while driving. Need help with it.

GPS is lagging behind on My iPhone 14 Pro Max just after the update of iOS 26. GPS lags mainly when i am driving on flyovers.

After that location service stop start it works just fine. Unfortunately the location services button is buried deep and an unsafe thing to do while driving. Iphone Air GPS location dropping out When using apps like Waze or Google Maps while driving my Iphone Air keeps losing the GPS location. I don’t want this to happen when i’m driving to a new location as i’ll be basically stranded. Anybody else having these issues? Never had any issue on my iphone 14 preciously.

GPS speed lagging iPhone SE2020 after iOS 17 update Since updating iPhone Se2020 to iOS17 and even the final version 16.7, GPS speed as shown on apps including Waze and Speedbox are lagging badly behind the actual speed. The fact that this problem affects more than one app points towards a problem with iOS 16.6/16.7/17 and how it runs on SE2020 models. It is like the GPS update rate has been slowed down dramatically. For example, when the car stops at the traffic lights, the GPS speed shown on either app is still showing 30km/hr at the moment the car stops, and takes 4-5 seconds to gradually count down to zero. When accelerating and steadying at cruise speed, it takes 4 - 5 seconds for the GPS speed displayed on the apps to catch up to reach a stable speed. When speed is varied up or down, a similar delay happens. I have rebooted the phone, tried turning location services, wifi and bluetooth off then turning the phone off and turning it back on, turning the settings all back on again, resetting location and privacy, and nothing makes any difference. Any help welcomed.
