warranty service in mainland China
I plan to buy a new iphone outside mainland China, can I still have the warranty service when I come back to China?

Probably not, since repair shops will not have the parts to fix other versions of the iPhone not sold in mainland China.
Contact an authorized Apple service shop in mainland China and ask them if they will offer warranty service on a phone purchased in another country. Then, ask them to send you a letter confirming this in writing.
It is always the best idea to purchase a phone in the country in which you will be using it most of the time.
