Can't read a lot of the new "movie poster" icons on Apple TV

The new movie poster style icons look nice, but Apple removed the text below the icons. Movie posters are not designed to be shown as small icons, thus, a lot of the show titles are not readable anymore. Any way of turning the text back on? Or are we just stuck with what they give us?

How can I change the layout of the movie images to movie posters in Apple TV app? The horizontal layout for movie posters are not true to their normal standards and makes it difficult to identify the movie title easily. I’m not sure why you had to go to a different layout standard when everyone is used to the movie poster style when searching for movies.

How do I change Up Next image display settings? in tvOS 26.2 the ability to chose the thumbnails in the top shelf Up Next is gone. You used to able to change it from Still Frame or Poster Art. This option is gone. Funny thing is with my two Apple TV’s one is stuck with Poster Art and the other is Still Frame, when they were both on Still Frame before the update. Anyway to get it changed back? [Re-Titled by Moderator] Original Title: Up Next Image display choice of Still Frame or Poster Art is missing from TV app settings. Where did it go?

It’s how it is now across all devices. You can ask Apple to consider restoring titles in text below the poster Art here -> Feedback - Apple TV App - Apple.
