IOS 26 - what happened to Delete and Block in chats?

After the update to the IOS 26

The option Delete and Block in chats has disappeared.

Previous behavior

A friend would start a group chat, that I wanted to exit.

1. Select: Delete and Block the group chat -
   1. Selected group chad would then move to the "Deleted chats" section,
   2. and incoming messages from that chat string would go directly to the blocked chat in the deleted messages folder.

NOW -

There is absolutely no option to delete and block a chat conversation.

I don't want to block my friends that are having the conversation,

I want the endless back and forth of this specific chat, out of my feed.

Current Behavior

1. Chat incoming with multiple contacts:
2. Too much activity - choose to delete conversation:
   1. Someone answers that thread/chat
      1. Conversation re-appears in my inbox with no history

Current options:

1. Delete the chat,
   1. Chat removed from chats and put into Deleted Chats folder
2. Person responds to original chat
   1. Chat Inbox shows new message with no history - just new reply is visible, pulling it back into my inbox!
3. In order to confirm this is from an existing and deleted chat chain
   1. I have to delete the new chat in question,
   2. Find it in the deleted chats section (and figure out which deleted chat it is)
   3. then un delete, and get the whole string back into my inbox
      1. Re -delete and wait for the next friend to pull a single reply into my inbox...
