Link to New York Times articles not working in news emails on iPadOS 26

IPadOS26 installed. Experiencing problem. News emails from New York Times that link to an article. The link does not work. Sends me to top of NYTimes website. I do not have this issue on my Macbook Air also running OS26. Screenshot not applicable to this question.

links from email to website or from one website to another not working When I click on link in an email it isn't taking me to the website. Just opens blank window. If I click on link on USPS.COM to another it isn't opening either. Just blank page. MacBook Pro m2 with Ventura

Mail not fully loading content, receive this message: "Load Content Directly". Have to click another button to fully load email I am running Apple Ventura, macOS 13.7.6 on my MacBook Pro. It is Mail Version 16.0 (3731.700.6.1.1). I get an email and click on it and it doesn't fully load. There is instead a question mark in the middle of the message - and off to the right side, a message saying "Load Content Directly." When I click that button, the message fully loads. But I am now having to do that on each and every email I receive. I found one post which said I should turn off Protect Mail Activity in Privacy in the settings of Mail. I tried that, a number of times, turned it on and off, and nothing changed. This began when I updated my macOS to the latest version. Anyone have a practical solution? Thanks.

An update of the NYT app is available in the App Store. This solves the problem.
