Hi, there are alot of apps that can't seem to be downloaded on my iphone x with iOS 16 and I find this disturbing since I saved my money for an iphone but services are limited. Can I please have an update of iOS 18 please. Thank u.

Your iPhone X hardware does not support the newer Operating Systems and cannot be upgraded. Apple does occasionally release security updates for older models. Remember, your device is over 8 years old.

For the iPhone X, which originally ran iOS 11.0.1 when Apple introduced it in November 2017, iOS 16 is the end of the line.
The iPhone X will never be able to update to IOS 17, let alone iOS 18 or 26.
