where is the send icon when texting?
I type my message and no send button on my MacBook. I have one on my iMac and iPhone.

I use the RETURN key and it works every time from three Macs. Not great but it's been that way in Messages for Mac going back to at least macOS 10.14 Mojave.
If you want a carriage return within a message, you do OPTION RETURN.
