If your iPhone isn't jailbroken, there are NO viruses which can infect an iPhone. Why do you think you have one? If you got a scam message saying your phone is infected and you need to contact someone to buy some service or tools, it's a total scam. Ignore and block them.

iPhone includes built-in malware defenses.

As for the widespread pop-up advertisements making false claims — lying — about viruses, those are advertisements, and not diagnostics.

Websites cannot scan your iPhone for malware. If they could scan — malware scans are deeply intrusive operations — they’d just steal everything directly, and not bother with the lies about viruses and hackers.

There is no virus here, no hacker, and no malware. The advertiser lied.

As above unless jail broken (which no one should do in my opinion) it’s not infected.

Check for:

• wrong Apple ID logins
• logins through a different browser
• a new app that you’ve come back to and it’s logged you in through their preferred client eg chrome, safari or their own
• reset your password

I only use wifi at home under a hidden network on a non teleco provided modem Wifi isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
