FALSE the issue has already been fixed with the last update, this thread was back in October.

I use YT music as well, seems to only pause when going to social media apps and maps, no issues on other apps.

For some reason anytime I use you tube switch to a different app nd switch back it restarts the video or when I’m using shonen jump and go to a different app it goes back to page 1. I use these apps a lot so it’s a little annoying anyone else having these kinds of issues?

Thought i was the only one with this problem. Even thought it was the Brave browser causing it. Switched to Safari and Chrome, hoping the issue would go away, but it never did.

I experience this issue yesterday, what is weird though I used google maps going to a location and everything worked, but using the map coming back home it paused my music when giving directions.

This could be a bug, not sure if there is any settings to change.

Perhaps a force restart Force restart iPhone - Apple Support might help.
