Apps playing in background

Why does music or other apps play in the background while I am trying to listen to info on a different app? I have turned off the other apps, but music keeps coming back in background even when it is not open.

When bring the music app to the foreground to investigate, it immediately starts to work perfectly. I then go back to my work and it will continue to play the remainder of the current song perfectly but then when it starts the next song it has to pause constantly because it cannot download it fast enough to play while the music app is in the background. I have a very fast M2 Mac and a 100mbps Internet service that works very well. Music cannot download fast enough to play unless it's the foreground app. I am hoping it's a simple matter of allowing Apple Music to work in the background but I have been unable to locate any controls that would allow the app a higher priority while in the background. Any ideas on how I can fix this would be greatly appreciated.

How to stop Apple Music from playing randomly after closing the App sometime the apple music start playing randomly even when i already close the app. How do i fix it for example when i play the game. I play the online mode in a game that force you to stay on that page or else you will lose connection. Even when the full top tab is unacceptable. So in mid round the apple music start randomly playing the song for a few seconds before it stop. This happened twice note that this is truly random, it doesn’t matter that i open the apple music beforehand or not because i surely didn’t it open on that day [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Why doesn't Spotify music show on the whole Lock Screen of my iPhone? I don’t know why when I play music on my iphone through spotify, my lockscreen doesn’t show the spotify music album or the music on my lockscreen completely. It sometimes does it sometimes doesn’t. Is there any fix for this? I want the music I am playing to show on the whole lockscreen, no just the small bar or widget on the bottom. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Hi scooterj,

We would love to see if we can help to get the issue resolved for you. What you're describing sounds like it isn't related to a setting that you could change to resolve the issue, so we would recommend some basic troubleshooting to start with. Let's start by restarting your device to completely close all of your Apps and refresh your devices operating system, and then checking to see if you may need to update iOS incase the issue is a bug.

Restart your device: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
Check for and install any iOS updates: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Check the App Store for third-party app updates that may need to be installed
