Calls from Instagram and WhatsApp missing in iPhone's call list after iOS 26 update

After installing iOS 26, calls from Instagram and WhatsApp were automatically deleted from the phone's own call list.

In the calls I make on Instagram, it does not appear separately in the phone's own calls section. When I click on the person and press the call history, I can only see it.

I'm sure I didn't delete calls, how can such a thing happen?

The data is stored by WhatsApp and the developers did not adequately prepare their app(s) for the changes Apple made to the operating system. Developers had early access to the necessary tools back in June. However, Apple can’t force companies to update their apps.

Please contact Meta support and see what solutions they can offer.
