iPhone 15 Pro overheating during cellular calls

I have been noticing that my phone is heating only when I am in call with someone.

It stays cool and reasonably hot while doing other things but when I am on call with someone over the cellular network it heats up real quick. Have anyone come across this kind of issue?

Please resolve this issue immediately.

suggest to me how can I get this issue resolved because unable to use my device due to strong Heating.

using since May 20, 2025

do you use the iphone 15 pro with a case? the only way i could see the iphone heating up is very poor cell connectivity witch would make the iphone search way more and use more power to get and keep that connection, along side having a case on would make it not be able to dissipate heat well. you could try calling on wifi like facetime audio. if that doesn't work go to settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Data mode > and set to standard mode. then voice & data > and set to 5G Auto. hope this helps :)

Even I have the same phone, and experiencing heating issues during using maps, zoom calls.

This might reduce battery health, further a sudden crash of the phone.
