iPhone 17 Pro Max connect to Wi-Fi7

I thought I read somewhere that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will be able to connect to Wi-Fi 7?

I have the iPhone 17 Pro Max connects up to Wi-Fi 6 no issues. My router definitely is capable of Wi-Fi.7

as I do have multiple devices that connect wifi7

I have reset the network settings no difference

even went to the extreme of a factory reset but still will only connect wifi6

would appreciate any suggestions or input on this

Here’s what Apple lists as the specs,

  • Apple N1 wireless networking chip
  • Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be) with 2x2 MIMO12
  • Bluetooth 6
  • Thread networking technology

  1. Wi‑Fi 7 available in countries and regions where supported.

My first step would be to contact the support team for the router. They may have already addressed the issue on the exact same hardware you have. If they’re stumped, contact Apple Support.
