iphone 17 pro max front camera freezes and blurs screen when in pro res video

When video is selected and you change settings to use that fo not require external storage pro res log or hdr the screen blurs and freezes.

It does say “ProRes video recording up to 4K at 60 fps with external recording.” Not sure if this affects you. You’re welcome to contact Apple Support and confirm any specific front camera limitations with Apple Camera app.
