I use my MacBook (closed lid) with two external monitors for 8-9 hours daily. It's always charging to maintain the display on. I'm worried about battery health and potential future issues.

Connected to Power is NOT necessarily charging.
The CHARGER is inside the MacBook Pro, and is completely under program control. Your Mac accepts some power when needs to run, and accepts more power when it intends to charge its internal battery. A power source like the Power Adapter or certain Displays can not 'force itself' on your MacBook Pro. Only the algorithms inside your Mac can decide when is a good time to charge the battery. Your Mac can NEVER be over-charged.
Many leave their MacBook Pro connected to power 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week, with impunity. There is no need to micro-manage your MacBook Pro charging. That is a job for a computer.

Leaving the computer plugged in will not damage the computer or the battery. You can leave the computer plugged in whenever convenient to do so. The MacOS manages the power and charging systems very well. You do not have to micro manage these systems.
