getting offensive e mails, have followed on line security recommendations, without success. if i block a sender i seem to get 5 more unwanted e mails.

I would probably create a new email address like a Outlook email address. ( https://signup.live.com/ )(At the moment you can not use Outlook or Hotmail) in Apples Mail app, so you would have to use the Outlook.app in the App Store
How do I Import emails into Outlook?
Select Open & Export > Import/Export. This starts the Import/Export wizard. Select Import from another program or file, and then select Next.
Once that is completed, get rid of email address by deleting it from the server that your email resides on.
You could also create a Apple ID email account with the User ID you used to log into the Apple Communities to post the question.
Thanks for your reply, i should have clarified, the mail address i’m having problems with is an icloud.com address. Messages arrive in my junk folder, about 20 a day, i block some and forward others to onlinesafety inbox. I have asked them about protection at the server, hoping to stop anything getting to me. If i close/delete the account and reopen the account in 6 months, will the same problem start again??
