Ipad Pro 13 (m4) keypad does not display

After the most recent update, my on screen keypad stopped displaying. I've tried restarting, checked multiple apps without luck, tried minimizing window sizes to see if it was hidden, and checked a variety of settings. If anyone can offer a suggestion, I'd truly appreciate it.

Onscreen keyboard moved to mid screen - now unable to view item responding to...IPad pro 2016, last IOS16 update. Updated IOS16 recently (before IOS17 tossed me out of support chain). It was the last IOS16 update and the keyboard moved from native/always bottom of screen location to midway. This now overlays (obscures but allows entry from keyboard) anything I may be attempting to write until I hide the keyboard. I then need to bring it up to type further. This means a back and forth procedure that is nearly obscene. Is there a reset or known procedure to get this back to it's home position?

Keyboard issues on iPad I cannot type anything into any app. It automatically puts in rows of w’s. I did reset and rebooted but it didn’t help. The keypad won’t stay visible. I checked the keyboard options and they are correct. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
