I am trying to setup my iphone 15 Pro max after iOS 26.0.1 update happened automatically. Every time when I select the wifi on the setup screen and click continue, it says "No Internet Connection" although the Wifi is working well with no issues.

OK. Have you rebooted your router? Also, try a Forced Restart on your iPhone --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

By chance do you have a VPN installed (whether used or not) on your iPhone?
Yes, I have forced restart my iphone few times but still no luck. I am receiving internet msgs and stuff (Whatsapp, Messenger) actually but I cannot go forward to set it up and reach the home screen. It does not go post the wifi network selection screen after I press continue.
So I'm confused. You can't set up the phone? Or you can't connect to Wifi? I know the original subject was getting Apple Intelligence, so what is exactly going on with your phone is not clear to me.
