Airdroping edited on premier pro HD slow mo video

I’m having an issue when exporting videos from Adobe Premiere Pro to my iPhone or other Apple devices. I edit using footage from my Sony A7S III (1080p HD) and often slow it down slightly for cinematic effect. However, once I export the video and play it back on an iPhone, it appears in extra slow motion, significantly slower than how it looks in Premiere.

To make it play at the correct speed, I have to manually edit the video in the iPhone’s “Edit” section and adjust the speed toggles to restore the intended playback. This workaround fixes it, but it’s frustrating and looks unprofessional when I’m sending final videos to clients, as they see the slowed-down version first.

I’d really appreciate any guidance on why this might be happening or if there’s an export setting or compatibility issue causing the iPhone to misread the frame rate or playback speed.

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 18
