Ok you said "it isn't charging" when you should have said "it is not on charge".

Charge all night, every night, on wifi, never turn it off, then your problem goes away.

Consider Upgrading:

You are not charging a flashlight, it is a digital device using intelligent charging. It requires to be on to charge, in fact it normally turns back on immediately.

There is no point in powering it down each night, in fact it is positively discouraged
