Hide My Email not forwarding my emails

I have signed up to a few websites using the Sign in with Apple function, and then selected Hide My Email. However, I am not receiving any of the emails that are meant to now be forwarded to my personal inbox. Neither are they in spam. I don't have an iCloud+ subscription. Any idea what the issue might be?
