Other person can't hear me on iPhone 17 Pro Max Bluetooth calls in my car

My new 17 Pro Max can make and receive calls via Bluetooth in my car but parties on the other end can’t hear me. The microphone in the car is fine as it understands voice commands.

Not sure why it would it the car issue when nothing but the phone has changed. I found a post that there was a change that Apple made to the Bluetooth on the iPhone 17, and several reddits reports of same issue with different car models. All I can say is no there is no update to my vehicle yet. Still believe it to be iPhone pairing issue for hands free but informing Apple already and I have an appointment with dealer as well in case they have an unpublished update as well.

Because the iPhone is a different model that uses newer technology with newer requirements for compatibility. Old technology (your car) doesn’t work with newer devices forever. Why doesn’t the TV I paid $1500 for in 1999 no longer work? Broadcast and cable technology passed it by.

The test would be to try your iPhone in a newer car the dealer has. If it works in the newer car, what does that tell us?
