Several issues after updating iPhone 17 Pro Max to iOS 26.0.1

Hey,

Recently got the iPhone 17 Pro Max (moved over from my 15Pro Max), upgraded to iOS 26.0.1.

These are the following issues im having:

Photo app:

Freezes

Showing Blurry photos

Takes HOURS (days) for it to even show a photo ive taken (if im lucky to get the camera app to work)

Camera: (Not had issues in snap, so I kinda assume it has to do with icloud syncing issues thats causing the messup)

Freezes (completely)

Never works from locked screen (I can open it, but never been able to take photos while phone was locked)

Ive tried to access the iCloud settings but at some point it freezes..

I am connected to Wifi so I shouldnt be limited on the "not syncing over cellular"

And didnt it used to be when your in the call log and have clicked on a caller, that you should be able to jump back to the call log by pressing "Calls"?

Well,,

Since I cant rly edit my icloud settings im stuck on trying to restart device, closing apps to then open them again for the same thing to happend.

Example now.

Just took a photo with camera, when I open photos its not there, when I click the grey circle in camera app I see my photo just 10x as blurry as when I took it. Im no longer allowed to press "take photo" button but I could see that camera was working ->that was until I switched over to video where the camera froze. I can without any issues change zoom, change mode but camera is frozen, button to activate either filming/taking phot doesnt work.

Theres no message in Photos saying "syncronization stoped" like it used to do before. Switching from Library->Collection froze the app.

It’s getting easy to tell that you may be best served by making an appointment for the Genius Bar at your nearest Apple Store where you can receive hands on assistance. Kind of a show and tell scenario. So, for now we’ll start in the beginning.

You say “when I click the grey circle in camera app I see my photo just 10x as blurry as when I took it.” My camera app doesn’t have a grey circle. Can you share a screenshot of what button you’re pressing and a few examples of the blurring photos? It will better help me understand the challenges you’re facing.
