was playing a mobile game when my phone went back except the bar at the bottom that's usually white/black went pink for a couple seconds before shutting down. It wasn't hot, that was the first thing I checked and it should've been around 40% battery. I can't turn it on at all and currently have it plugged in

I had to get the battery on my iPhone 12mini replaced after almost 4 years, but I used it only as a phone, no games played.
Did it make the charging sound when you connected it to the charger?

I'm unsure. The phone is a hand-me-down from my grandmother. I brought it to a service guy and he tried replacing the battery and screen, but neither worked. He thinks it's something to do with the mother board. He's gonna keep tinkering for his own curiosity sake. I ended up getting a used iphone 12, don't got thousands of dollars for a phone
