Make sure you’re updating apps frequently and not relying on auto updates. This may delay apps being updated. Many of the well known social media apps are updating multiple times a week. X for instance has done over 20 updates in last 30 days and everyone they list bugs fixes as reason for update.
As a general practice I will do a forced restart when I notice unexpected behaviors in apps.
